Here is a lovely old yellow wire egg basket from a farm estate sale in rural Iowa. This was the basket used by the woman of the house for the daily trip to the hen house to collect eggs. This basket has a yellow rubber like coating and a steel handle. Some of the coating is coming off here and there and there is rust showing on some of the basket, especially on the bottom edge or corners. This item will make a nice addition to your country decor.
