This Victorian era art print of Little Jack Horner by artist Jan Van Beers was found inside an old picture frame at an estate sale in rural Iowa. The frame was not holding up well, and I have extracted the print to better identify it for you. It is very fragile. At the top in the left hand corner, it says Jan Van Beers London, on the print itself. In the upper right hand corner, but outside the print, it says Christmas Number Illustrated London News 1890. At the bottom of the print, but not ON the print, it says Little Jack Horner in block-like letters. At the very edge of the paper, something else is printed, but I am not able to read it because it appears to have been printed partly off the page. The paper does not look like it has been cut. The edges around this print are very fragile, and there are some tears and cracks. There are some thin spots on the actual print, where it looks as though something has 'eaten' through the paper. I am selling this very old print without the frame, and it will be carefully packed in an oversize flat box, to protect it during shipment. (there is not way it could be rolled in a tube.)
